Question: 214-5201
Are hydroseeders affective in the fall for lawns? We are putting in a new lawn. Mike, New London, CT

Mort's Answer:
Hydroseeding will protect the seed through the winter. Rye seeds will emerge within two weeks. Fescue, bluegrass and perennial rye can take 30 days. Any seeds not germinated will wait until spring as they would do in the wild.
