Question: 396-3411
I bought a shrub last year and cannot find any information on it, What can you tell me about a Himalayan blueberry? Carol

Mort's Answer:
My best guess is that it is a dwarf billberry. Vaccinium myrtillus needs the same attention that all blueberries require. They love old sawdust around the roots each year with gravel soil underneath. They are high feeders but the aged sawdust will supply sufficient nitrogen each year. They are very juicy and the berry is quite small. It grows about 10 inches tall.
