Question: 1063-5113
What kind of minimum temperature do I need to start radishes and beets in my greenhouse. I just installed some costly electric heat. Bill, Tulsa, OK

Mort's Answer:
You can save a lot on money by using heat pads under the seed trays. Air temps can be around 45 to 50 and soil temps around seventy. Radishes will sprout in a few days. Fans help keep the air warmer and discourage blight and fungi.
